This is one of Peppino's easiest fits: mid-rise, flat front, relaxed all the way down. A loose leg you’ll want to live in. Based on original Swiss military surplus work pants, the type 48 features two front patch pockets, a single back pocket, and a small utility pocket on the leg, for whatever small tool or snack you need to carry. Cut from 100% cotton Smart Indigo denim (11.5 oz), developed in Italy using a clean dyeing technology that’s better for the planet – and still gives you that deep, honest blue. Made in Italy. 100% cotton.

Peppino Peppino is a small-batch denim company based in Viareggio, Italy. Designers Simona Testucci and Suzanne Perrenod's collection presents utilitarian pieces in fun, unique proportions with a nod to Japanese styling and American workwear. All is thoroughly Italian, from raw material to production, and the brand partners with local mills carefully chosen for their sustainability practices.
Most fabrics, trims and labels are sourced locally, with limited, considered exceptions such as Japanese fabrics. The denim is washed in Italy at one of the country’s most established laundries, using techniques designed to reduce chemical impact.
The company remains closer to a mom-and-pop operation than a conventional brand, allowing them to follow production personally and closely. They produce in small batches, making just enough to satisfy demand. It’s a slower, more considered process that naturally avoids unnecessary excess.
