Fashion Brand Company was established in 2018 by artist Penelope Gazin in her Los Angeles apartment, where she sometimes used the boxes of clothes as furniture. They aim to provide well-made, amazing-fitting garments that will last years and years and ideally get better with age with minimal care and fussing. Choosing quality over fast fashion means fewer clothes end up in a landfill. In addition to the work FBC are doing internally, they believes that part of being an ethical business is supporting causes openly. They have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to non-profits such as Center for Reproductive Rights, Palenstine Children’s Relief Fund, and Patient Advocate Foundation to name a few.
