Edward Achour is a self-taught French designer that developed a keen interest and passion in haute couture early in life. Born in Nice, he often traveled to Paris where he sold his sketches to great couturiers such as Yves Saint-Laurent and Guy Laroche. Honing his skills at Burberry and Escada, he eventually became the artistic director of the haute couture department at Carven. He launched his namesake brand in 2009 with an undeniably French aesthetic.
