Description
In the 19th century, Wilson “Snowflake” Bentley struggled to capture the fleeting wonder of snowflakes, successfully photographing the first in 1885 using a surface of black velvet. Though the methodology has improved since then, the awe for the snowflake’s exquisiteness remains. Like those early photographs, this snowflake suspends the crystalline, geometric perfection of what Bentley called “tiny miracles of beauty.” Glass globe with pearl white base. Comes in a securely packed box, making it a lovely gift to give and receive.
